Scream Blue Murmur is best described as a loose organism - a blend of music, chant, poetry and performance poetry - delivered with a unique performance style emerging from pubs and clubs in Northern Ireland and then honed through touring world-wide. Performing @23mainstreet on August 6th.

An event so shrouded in mystery, even the events coordinator isn't entirely sure what's going on... But you may have noticed books of poetry hanging around 23 Main Street, published by the ambitious young Moose Javian, Jessica Layne Bird.
This is an evening that a handful of our creative regulars are conspiring to treat us to some poetry and music, so come on down and enjoy this elusive event ;D
A boy/girl band from Prince George who loved Moose Jaw so much in June that they had to come back, The Arbitrarys hope to coat your eardrums in delicious melodies and then sing you to sleep. Who doesn't want that?! See you there!
Visiting from Vancouver, Doug has shared the stage with the likes of The Ramones and Ramblin' Jack Elliott, and the Circus in Flames has recently contributed to a Tribute to Ian Tyson along with Blue Rodeo, Gordon Lightfoot, and Corb Lund.
Halifax- born folk artist Jon Bryant will appear live to play some songs off his latest record 'Two Coasts For Comfort'right here @23mainstreet on Saturday, July 10th. Jon's song 'Deaf' was selected as an iTunes download of the month by the staff at iTunes early in 2010.
